Anyone interested in a short D4 to Component cable?

I contacted Nemal about making a custom D4 to Component cable with BNC plugs. I wanted a much shorter cable with BNC to use with an onboard Marshall monitor. The guy dealing with it said he's away for 2 weeks, but he's going to discuss it with me when he gets back. Not sure about cost yet.

I wondered if anyone else would be interested so we can order a decent amount and perhaps reduce the unit cost. If anyone is interested please PM me so I have your email and I'll let you know what he says. Also what length would you be looking for? Initially I have settled on between 18"-20", working with the monitor either mounted on a Noga arm on the right hand side or on the camera hot shoe.

I would be interested in that cable as well. I want a short component cable with BNC's for camera and (2) long cables with BNC's for monitors. Probably 25' and 50'. I can't understand why Panasonic decided to go with RCA connectors on their HD output. Lame.

I am really sorry about this guys. I have made lots of attempt to contact the company who originally said they could help, but they are not responding any more.

I really hoped to be able to get a neat, short cable made for everyone, but this one just didn't work out. Will keep looking around.

Count me in. Panasonic cable is now in the trash after a month of use. It totally crapped out! Had to go to s-vid backup, which sucked.
 
Why don't you contact Nebtek. They advertize that they'll build custom cables. Seems like it could be a good business for them.
 
Thanks fotoart. The link takes me to a page with a picture of a cable which looks the perfect length, but when you go to the product page, the actual cable is 3' 5" long. The small picture there seems to show the true length, but clicking on it takes me back to the picture of the short cable.

What do they send if you order this cable? A long 3' 5" cable or a much shorter one?

Has anybody found a D4 to BNC cable yet? I can't believe the HPX500 ships with the same RCA cable as the HVX. At least they include the RCA to BNC adapters.

My D4 cable is not working. (I have to wiggle the red cable to get a color image)
I tried a search online and nothing....? I seem to remeber canon offered one- but I can not find listed on B&H anymore.
I can not believe panasonic does not offer a replacement.
Someone, please tell me where I can buy a new D4 cable.
 
FYI:
I got two new cables from Pana, because BOTH our cables were somehow broken (one never used...)
The new ones still don´t work flawless, as others have stated it´s all about these crappy RCA plugs, I still cannot believe how such a freaking rediculous item f**ks up my workflow!!!
And I can´t believe how few are complaining about the cable!?
Anyways, next step is shortening and soldering BNCs to the RCA end of the cable, hope that´ll fix it once and for all...
