I am trying to find a n HD field monitor for my HVX and I know people have used the marshall 7" with great results on the HVX, but I want to make sure I know what I am getting myself into. What do I need besides the monitor to use it in the field? What are the different ways of powering it and mounting it and what else do I need?

Thanks for the help

Here is the link for the Marshall V-R70P-HDA 7" LCD Monitor

nebtek.com

get the modification to use dvx/hvx batteries

several mounts available on the website I linked to.

They specialize in monitors. Call them. (# on website) Their staff is small and personable and will tell you what you need.

Yeah, I use it with the panasonic battery upgrade.

the tape is there because the monitor is mounted upside down for use with a 35mm adapter.

get one of the really really long hoods for outdoor use.

the nebtek build quality on the battery adapter is suspect. the only screw that held it in place fell out, and the rest was GLUED on..... rediculous. it didint last 2 weeks before it broke. i had to re build it myself.

Thank you guys for such a fast reply. I will check it out. I need a moniter for a shoot July 23 so time is running out.
