Whats the best method for mixing a two camera concert shoot with vegas 7?

I used two cameras, Camera 1 (A roll) as med to wide shots and camera 2 (B-roll) as close to extreme close ups. Both cameras ran non stop. I just want to use certin scenes from camera 2 to mix with camera 1.

Vol 1 #9 of my newsletters gives you four different methods of editing multi-cam events. The simplest method is by using a script. There are multiple scripts available that will do this. For two cameras, there's a free on on the VASST website. For more cameras, your options include Excalibur, Ultimate S, and Infiniti-Cam.

I downloaded Double Take but I can't seem to get Vegas 7 to recognise it. You did send me this link once before and I forgot about it. Thanks for the resend.

You might want to consider VAAST's Ultimate S. It has many excellent features among them multicam editing. After using it for two camera wedding shoots, I can't imagine life with out it.

I just did my first two camera edit using Ultimate S and did have to refer to the help menu inside Ultimate S. Once I read through it, however, I had no problem. I would advise you if you purchase Ultimate S to be sure to add the Ultimate S and Camera cut icons to your toolbar. It will make your life a lot easier. My problem showed up in rendering. If I rendered the output in 4:3, it was great. If I did widescreen 16:9, the aspect ratio was wrong. I still have not solved the problem but I had to present the video to a potential client so I just rendered 4:3 until I could look into it further.
