CC/FCP Experts - Problems With HVX 200 Green Footage

Hey guys, any help with this ASAP is sincerely appreciated. We're in the middle of an HVX-200 feature, shooting 720P 24N, and shot some stuff a few days ago that when previewed in FCP exhibits some major macroblocking and video noise. It's in a bright green felt fabric, behind an actors head, that seems to have a polyester thread running through it that seems to reflect light. As it appears in the timeline, the footage is unusable and we have to add a day to our schedule to reshoot. But as rendered out to a still and as H.264, it looks fine. Not good, but usable. Is there a difference in FCP preview and what the actual footage displays as? Or if this is a real problem, can it be corrected in post? I would like to show you a still but don't see a way to add in thread... any advice?

Post some stills- before/after etc so we can help you more. The FCP preview is a proxy depending on your settings. The only way to see the footage accurately for certain is with an AJA card or played out to a 1200A DVCPROHD deck connecting to a proper broadcast HD monitor.

Noah, thanks for taking the time to reply. Everyone here who looked at it agreed it was a noise and macroblocking issue. We always had a day set aside at the end of the shoot for reshoots. Looks like we get to use it. All good.... and thanks again, Noah.
