Football stock footage...

I'm shooting a commercial that requires a shot of a football game on TV. Does anybody know what kind of copyright issues I might encounter here and if/where I can get copyright free footage of a football game somewhere?
Thanks!

the nfl is pretty serious about using their footage. they've gotten sites like youtube to take off most nfl clips.

the good news is that for a small fee, i'm available. i can take some footage of me playing football in my backyard. now i don't make any promises about my athletic prowess, but for comedic effect it may be worth it...

I took some shots of a local high school game, threw in some graphics, put it to tape, then played it on the TV in the background of the shot. For a limited time "on air", it worked great!
