Is there any 35mm adapter for HVX that flips the image back to normal?

Hi guys,
I'm looking for 35mm adapter for HVX. Can spend up to 3,000$.
The question is:
Is there any 35mm adapter for HVX that flips the image back to normal?
(I am not talking about fliping the screen. I'm talking about the footage that is recorded.)

Yes, there are several. The Letus35 Flip Enhanced does it, and there's an optional flip element for the Redrock M2. And the mini35 and MovieTube both properly flip the image.

Cool. I'm just about buying a Redrock M2.

Bundle includes
M2 Cinema Lens Adapter
Carrying Case
72mm HD Achromat
PL Lens Mount
2 18" Stainless Steel Iris Rods
Support System
External Power Supply
microFollow Focus
3 Lens Gears
3" Whip
12" Whip
18" Whip
Lens Support (Not Pictured)
Accessory Pod (Not Pictured)

But I cannot see the fliping element.

Why so adamant about that feature??

In order to pull crucial focus, you'll need an external monitor anyway, as the LCD on the cams don't have a high enough resolution for proper focus.

Just a heads up.

That's not the most important feature. I didn't want to deal with the pain of flipping everything in post production. I know everyone works with it and around it but for me it was important not to have to deal with it. You have to admit there is a lot of time spent dealing with upside down pictures. Although the light loss may be an issue someone would rather not deal with on the flip modules.

not ALL external monitors are good for pulling focus. Some of them aren't even good for viewing.

The external that I used yesterday on a commercial shoot wasnt great for pulling focus. Invest in a good one if you are going to get one.

I see what you're saying... but... all I have to do in FCP is throw a single "perspective" filter down over the clips, and it's back to normal. No rendering, and takes all of about 5 seconds.

Not sure how other NLE's handle it though, so I could see it being an issue for some poeple.

And yes... monitors need a high resolution to pull it off. I just ordered one (for SD, not HD) for $200 and the resolution is 800x480. Should be plenty to get accurate focus.

The image flipping inside an adapter through a prisma will cost you about another stop AFAIK, image flipping in post is hassle free even for long projects with lots of footage it doesn´t cost much time (eg compared to correcting underexposed shots;o) )

What/where did you get? I'm looking for a small monitor to allow focusing that will mount on the glidecam sled.

Thanks,

Cineform Aspect HD flips the footage during the capture if you want to. So no need for flip in the adapter for me.
