How to get free food at McDonald's

Would you feel the same, if it was your stolen camera he used to tape it? Thet is theft, thieves are scum no matter how you slice it.

I think theres a difference between something being stolen from me, a 20 year old student, than from a big franchise company that trashes food all day long because their workers (much respect to them) make a mistake and place onions on a no onion burger.

I personally, would rather have someone steal the food, and EAT it, than throw it out. But, my opinion.

So are you saying it's alright to steal from someone who can afford it?
Just trying to clarify your point here.

(alright, i'm just paying devils advocate)

It was a joke. I'm sure no one was harmed in the making of that video. Yes it was a stunt and was childish but I cannot imagine the worker getting reprimanded for what was obviously completely out of his or her control.

Let's keep this in perspective....This person was given a free McDonald's meal for the antic. He didn't steal the hope diamond and Its not like he kicked the wooden leg out from under a cripple. Though from a humor standpoint....well....I'm not even going to comment on what I think would have been funnier.

EDIT: And Luis...my response isn't to you directly. I just hit SAVE directly after you. I just thought the video was kinda funny and ballsy.

Hahahaha.
(am I a bad person for finding that really funny?)

I don't think anyone was REALLY blowing this out of proportion (at least I didn't mean to) - like I said, i was just playing devil's advocate.
It did bring up some interesting conversation though.

Yeah, you're probably right. There just seemed to be a few who really took a hard line towards what he did.

I just didn't think he was that vicious. But man, how funny would it have been if he HAD found a special Olympics and as he was approaching them......well, I digress....

I still say theft is theft, whether it's a cheeseburger, or your gear. Their is only two differences-
1) the price of the item
2) it wasn't YOUR stuff that was being stolen

Tomorrow might be a different story, after he's already eaten his "free" big mac, and sees you set YOUR gear down. It would be funny to watch the expression on YOUR face when you find YOUR gear missing. Don't you think so?

Thieves don't start off robbing banks, they usually start small... like a "free" cheeseburger. When that thrill wears off, they move on to ballsier acts.

No, but I'm saying I don't feel bad for someone stealing food from a place that throws them out all the time. Personally, id rather have someone steal my food I'm going to put into the trash, and have him eat it, than have it go to waste. Thats it.

Yes. It was definitely theft. But, I think it was less about stealing and more about being filmed while pulling a prank. I could be wrong. Maybe this is the start of a big time theft spree for him...but I have a feeling he was just trying to be funny and clever.
