where do extra audio tracks go from the DVX when you import into Premiere?

I shot a short on a DVX, using both mic jacks, recording two seperate tracks of audio. When I enter my footage into Premiere 1.5, and I drop the video into the timeline, the audio only takes up that one audio track (audio 1). Are both audio tracks inside that one audio track? Or am I forgetting to do something? This is important as I feel like one of the audio tracks is inferior and it'd sure be nice to know where the other one is.

I have shot with the same audio setup. I will capture tomorrow and try to separate the audio tracks and post, here, how I did it. Please let me know 'your" results.

they are there as L and R channels. If you go into the bin before you place the footage on the timeline you can go to clip->audio-> then something about remap the channels and select two mono channels. This will get you two independent mono channels to work with.
