applying a filter to a whole video track

[runningwaterproductions]

how do i apply an effect to the whole video track, or all the clips on that track? I want to desaturate one whole video track to make a black and white product. thanks for your help in advanced

Nest your sequence.

if you highlight all of the clips, then drag the desaturate effect onto them they will all receive the effect.

thanks.

Press your first clip then press the SHIFT key and go to the last clip you want and all the other clips in the middle will be highlighted. Then drag the filter onto them as was stated above.

really quick, after you have nested a sequence, is it possible to un-nest it?
