I'm going to be making a music video where a monitor is shown a lot as a prop playing a looped video.
I am building this prop and want to know if there are any types of special monitors / televisions / mini dvd players, etc. that do not flicker / sync to an HVX to reduce lines.
I will be using a rented HVX, is there is a setting that I can choose to get rid of lines? If so, I can't let it hinder me from using 24P and variable frame rates to create both slow motion and sped up effects.
Or- is it easier just to greenscreen the area, (lighted correctly), where the video should be and add it in later?
Thanks!
