Yeah Terry, read the last half too, this could develop in another good product comming out of this community!
Affordable HMI will let more people let them buy instead of renting all the time...
But hey, if you got your own lineup of HMI Arris you don´t need much advice;o)
 
The thread is teetering into "War & Peace" territory. I'd still feel safer using the originals, but it sounds like these are pretty good.

I wish I knew exactly which post you're referring to.

I'm down with inexpensive, yet quality HMI fixtures. There are a few companies working on such. So says Barry Green.
 
Reading "the second half" of the thread didn't get to the point as well as the thread I posted two posts before yours (#11).
 
Yea im getting a blueline kit a lotta people said they hold up better then arris. Which sounds crazy. Only problem was a flicker problem but that is mainly with the bulbs.
 
Which ones did you get? Do you have a link?
The grabs look top notch btw!
Is this in the US, thought you were in Asia...
