we had some of that in LA too, lol.

WOW, that is crazy...I have been keeping an eye on my local craigs list... I WISH it was like that. I'm home from college trying to freelance. The lake is pretty dry up here... AND the cavs lost. What a week.

If you are going to be in the Cleveland Area and need crew, look me up!

[Tom Marshall]

Just curious, how much work are you guys getting from craigslist?

[Grug]

I couldn't make sense of all that - what's going on exactly that's causing an uproar?

[Huy Vu]

I'm guessing it's a community lash-out against all the non-paying "job offers" in the Jobs section.

[Capt Quirk]

yes, there is always somebody who has to respond to those ads. I have actually found a couple jobs that weren't to bad through craigslist. I suppose it is like any other classified, in as much that some jobs are gems, some aren't.

[Capt Quirk]

I also want to ask this- out of all these ads that promise payment when the movie/pilot sells, does anyone actually make money doing indy stuff? From what I've read, moviemakers don't make money, and are lucky to break even.

[Capt Quirk]

Cooll deal Aram. Out of curiosity, where does the funding come from? Personal pockets, sponsers, subscribers?

[Beat Takeshi]

Some from personal pockets trying to get on a site and some from the sites.
I would show you some but they are not posted as of yet and I don't want to jump the gun. When they go up I will post a link.
