I'm relaying a problem from someone else that I know very little about, so bear with me.
There's a client who's receiving some footage. They wanted it mastered to a full-res archival HD format, so this was done in DVCPRO HD for layback onto tape. Now the problem is that they are complaining they can't play the files on their Windows PCs. Is there a player out there that will play DVCPRO HD (1080) on a PC that doesn't have Avid/Vegas/any NLE installed? Or can someone point me to somewhere you can find the Quicktime DVCPRO codec for PC? I can't seem to find such a thing.
