After nearly a year of work, Cinevate is pleased to announce the arrival of our 15mm carbon fibre camera support rails. These rails are made completely to our specifications featuring a very heavy wall thickness, helical wind, and very slick finish. A completely revamped tool-less camera base plate/tripd system and Brevis support will be available next week to complement the rails.

The base plate is height adjustable, meaning it will work perfectly with any 35mm lens adapter (including the M2) and camera combination. With the addition of a short grip rod, the same base plate can serve as an inverted mount for small cams like the HV20.

These look great! I can't wait to see the base plate and support for these. I guess you wanna keep the price of those underwraps for when you unviel them right?

And I assume these will eventually all be offered in some sort of package deal right?

I'm gearing up on adapter knowledge right now so I can take the adapter plunge soon for my A1 and am heavily considering the brevis, it looks like you guys make some really great products and your company is going nowhere but up!

Hey are you guys actually making this stuff and running the company from Thunder Bay? If so that's awesome, it's great to see enterprising canucks shaking up the indie film biz.

Our first complete rails set was in and out in the same day for a magazine review...so not even a picture to tease you with. What I can say is that not only are they much lighter, but they are pretty sexy for a set of rails. We'll have the complete rails systems and pics up in our online catalog in about 7 days. Our 12 volt rails mounted 10Ah power packs, shoulder mounts and front grips will follow shortly after.

As soon as the follow focus units are in stock, we'll have a complete bundle, and variations on the theme put together to make things simple. At that point, the rails system, adjustable support, HD imaging adapter, mattebox, and follow focus unit/gears will be bundled as a complete kit.
 
awwww! waaaaaaahhh! :crybaby::crybaby: I didn't know you were going to have a new tool-less camera base plate/tripd system and Brevis support! I would have waited for those and not of purchased mine a week or so ago. Any way I can trade those in and pay the difference?
 
Given the week timeline, I'm sure we can work something out for you. I've never seen the equivalent of full on bawling done in print..nice :thumbsup:
