Hi All,

I work in a small conversion / duplication shop. We're just now starting to work with HD, and our first step is going to be working with HDV. My question is, with Premiere Pro 1.5, or 2.0, will we be able to export an HDV quicktime file that our clients will be able to use in Final Cut Pro?

Premiere doesn't have the best quicktime encoder. In fact I wouldn't even capture the footage from Premiere if you're going to edit in FCP. For some reason the encoding on both NLE are so different that if you capture in one it's hard to edit on the other. Mpeg files captured from Premiere would crash FCP and quicktime files captured from FCP would crash Premiere.
