hvx is darker than dvx - everything is even darker in the FCP!

I've been playing around with my HVX and have noticed that it is considerably darker than the DVX on the same settings (Cine - 25P - I/60 - Iris Open - MWB)

...and the footage (on both HVX and DVX) is at least a stop darker once imported into FCP. Any ideas why???

Because the HVX is less light sensitive...

hvx is 1 stop slower.

the DVX100 in 60i is 2 stops faster. The HVX in 60i is 1 stop slower than it is in any of the progressive modes.

any ideas why FCP seems to be a stop darker too?

something to do with gamma on macs. in reality it looks "right".
