Can I edit/output 24p and 60i together?

I'm doing a TV show to be broadcast on a local channel. I want to shoot part of it in 24p and the other part in 60i. I will output it to DVD for the TV station. Will I run into major problems doing this? Should I do 24pa instead of 24p?
Searched the threads on this topic with no luck. If there is a thread with this topic that I couldn't find, I would greatly appeciate it being pointed out to me. Thanks a lot DVXusers.

I'd shoot 24p and capture and at 29.97, without doing pulldown removal. You'll still get the film look and be able to mix with 60i.

hee... Noah's getting legs again too!!

Remember - if it saves you even 1 hour of prep time it's an investment WELL worth the cash!

I always shoot 23.97 because of all HVX advantages. In what program you can put pulldown to it so it makes 29.97. I tried in motion but got complications and in compressor it just put whole frames instead of field interpolation.
