If you ever feel like the world is against you, it is.... to get a film made, and to maybe someday get it picked up by a studio.... there is caliber you expect Lionsgate films to be..... think agian....

Rent Mr. Jingles The WORST movie, it will really make you upset to know that lionsgate bought it, and its basically in every best buy and block buster

this is a trailer....

urghh. I think lionsgate bought it for over $250,000.

I doubt Lions Gate paid $250 for it. Where did you hear a big number? I know guys who've gotten pics "distributed" through Lions Gate before, and I'll safely say that you've got a few too many zeroes in that figure there...

Hey....think of it this way....either it was nepotism....or it was a stroke of good luck/marketing. Either way, gotta applaud it. If you are serious and persistent you will DEFINITELY get your shot.

I am pretty sure it was in the 200k range, I actutally used to live where they made it, and my friend is pretty active with some of the guys that made it

....but I am not trying to brag clearly

...they have a new film called "They Must Eat" ... shot on cinealta, looks just as bad....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDGo1z8qHG4 enjoy! haha

btw, mr. jingles was shot on xl1

I don't mean to sound mean or sarcastic by questioning this, but I thought the Cinealta was supposed to give you a superb movie image. Are you sure it was the Cinealta? I don't think it's worth over 100 grand (or a thousand a day) for an image like that...

I thought Rodriguez and Lucus use it? Now I'm really lost...

I am 100% positive they shot on cinealta...think of it this way, Paris Hilton has a 220,000 dollar car, but she is still a crappy driver.

I still say there is NO WAY that Lions Gate paid $200,000 for that. Maybe $2,000. But not, not, not $200,000. Simply not possible. Lions Gate is snatching up lots of terrible films for cheap cheap cheap. Nobody's getting paid $200,000 for waving a camcorder around and squirting fake blood around.

Can somebody explain how a Cinealta can be docked to a high 8 deck to produce such heinous images that even my first 200 dollar camcorder would put to shame right out of the box.

I actually own this movie. I've seen it about 4 times and it keeps getting better. It is definitely one of the worst movies I've ever seen (and that's saying something). There's one line reading that we have to rewind about 6 times every time we watch it. You'll know it when you see it. It's the worst example of "acting" I've ever seen... ever.

We show this piece of crap to everyone. There's no way Lion's Gate paid more than $12 for it. A developmentally disabled chimp could shoot a better flick.

so i found out the number... yeah i was wrong, sorry everyone.... but it was more than 12k...

22k.
