my new d40

one more question. im doing the adjustments on a laptop. will these colors be printable, or not. i know a laptop isnt your idea screen to change, but its all i have for now. OPINIONS and expertise welcome.

Great shot there. May want to crop out a little of the dead space... but great shot.
 
Great shots. You're motivating me to get out with my D50. And to go to the Bronx Zoo. 6 years here and never been.
 
scotman...I'll definitely post something this weekend. I just got my camera last weekend and have only had time to shoot my dog, my kitchen table, my gf, etc. today, from B&H, I get my 70-200mm 4.0L lens and my 50mm im psyched. So, I am taking the camera out all weekend and will post for sure!

scotman....sorry to keep you waiting. I brought my camera and my brand spanking NEW lens out the other day to take some nice shots of a local waterfall. Well, I bust out the tripod. My girlfriend left the quick release plate on HER camera. Doh!

Secondly, and more stupid yet, I was playing around with the camera the night before (shots of my dog, a book, a chair, stupid stuff etc.) and realized, after I hiked to the falls mind you, I left my 4 gig Compact Flash card in my printer. Double D'oh! I was soooo P-Oed.

But, since I have no time during the week these days I am definitely bringing it with me this weekend. My GF and I are housesitting and using this as an opportunity to relax by the pool for a few days...So, I will DEFINITELY have some shots by the end of the weekend!

If I wasn't too scared of not being allowed into the stadium, I'd bring my camera to the Yankee game on Saturday. Hmmm...we'll see.....
