Tim,
in short you should dismount the gear from the color coded collar first.
This way you can acccess the socket screws with an allen key.
and then, center the colar on the lens using the six screws ( right size screws for each lens) and mount the gear back on the collar. I used to ship out a DVD with the mounting procedure and never had a return (only repeated customers). Dennis has to be excused, his hands are full with lots of other developments.
