16x9inc lenses

Hi,

I am new here. I want to purchase a HVX200, but that purchase all depends on finding an affordable fisheye lense for the HVX. The 3350 dollar lense from schneidder is to expensive. And it smaller brother, the super fisheye, has an angle that just doesn't do the trick.
I was looking at this website http://www.16x9inc.com/index.html
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these lenses...
I won't settle for this lense if i don't know what quality it stands for.
Also, if i use their extreme fisheye, i would have to use a 72mm-82mm stepup ring. Would this produce a lot of vignetting ?

If anyone can help me out, please do so.
Thanks a lot !

not exactly the answer you want but. I have the 16x9 .75 zoom through. Great peice of glass Highly recommend the company. I also (for a much cheaper price bought a non zoom through lens from cavision, It is a .65 but it was meant for a 2/3 inch chip camera so for some reason, I can't fully understand optics, it is extremely wide. It is practically fisheye. I use it a lot in tight spaces. I tonly cost me $300 and I use the heck out of it. The tow lenses together are a great team. All total I got them both for under $1300 and I have a lot of flexibility by having both ranges of wide.

I know it's not what you wanted but it wasn't what I was looking for either but sure worked out in the end. I guess I would say that the 16x9 quality is far superior to cavision. course if you have the money Chroziel is the way to go.

I wish there was a direct comparion between the Century .55x Super Fisheye, the 16x9 fisheye, and the Cavision .4x fisheye. That would answer a ton of questions!

can you post some sample footage or frames in full reslution ? If you still have to shoot them it would be helpfull to make a shot where you film a person from a very low perspective, like for example in skatefilms.
I hope you find the time to do so, I and lots of other people i know will be extremely thankfull.

thanks for answering,
s
