DVCPRO, where'd you go?

So all's good in the world of my computer. Edius runs real smooth, not a kink. I go away for two days, and suddenly, I only have HDV options, and there is no support for MXF files.

When I go to open a project I had started a few days ago (which was already configured to use DVCPro), I get the message "Hardware device for this project does not exist. The project will now be opened in software mode (no external video/audio out)"

Anyone experience this before? Solution?

I've already tried reinstalling Edius, didn't fix a thing.

Check your Doggle.

The dongle has not been touched. When I select P2 import, I also get an error message: "The system requirement is illegal. nable to start."

I've installed the P2 viewer, which Edius acknowledges, the drivers have been installed and reinstalled, Edius has been reinstalled after the P2 viewer and drivers were present, but to no avail. Ugh.

hmm. Sounds like your dongle could have possibly gone bad. Sounds like it might be time for a call to tech support... If doing a full uninstall and reinstall doesn't work, then.... the only thing I could think of would be a problem with your dongle, or your usb port. Tried plugging something else into the usb port? See if it works?

I received my HPX2000 last monday and wed I was trying to import from the camera with P2 select. Thats what it told me. I reinstalled the new HPX2000 drivers. Still same old story . I looked down on the edit desk and there it laid. the Doggle. I had removed it to plug in the usb from the camera. Pluged it back in and it works just like a Timex.
