Smoking to affect movie ratings...

I thought movies didn't even have to be rated...

This might sound strange, but why go to the MPAA when it costs money? How hard is it to show what's in the movie: Strong Language, Sexuality, Violence, Drug Use. You can edit that in under a large WARNING sign or something... So that could be another way of everybody knowing the material they will be watching...
 
Theaters won't show it without a rating...it defaults to NC-17

That nonsense won't change until some of the big boys start bypassing the ratings folks.

The weenies already took the cigarette holder out of FDR's mouth for the memorial in D.C.

And they show him in his wheelchair...even though he made it a point not to be seen in one.
