I just got the Letus Flip adapter and was wondering which set of rails to get?

Any recommendations?

I was considering either the Cavision or the Indirails.

Thanks

if your pockets are deep enough, look at the zacuto stuff. their prices are borderline extortionate - but the build quality is second to none!

the package im looking at consists of rails, grips shoulder pad and monitor arm. just under $2000. crazy? yes! worth it, id say a definite maybe!

Take a look at www.hysonfilms.com

he has a new rail setup coming out VERY soon, should be any day now pretty much, and how much? 285 bucks.

now theres an easy price to swallow.

Zacuto stuff is pure pwnag, but when you are on teh budget and stuff starts adding up, Hysonfilms to the rescue with some very good quality, AND ULTRA service.

that hyson site seems (at least at the moment) 100% "vapor ware" - and that chick with the samurai sword up her ass, and rails with phaux smoke visual gimicks dont exactly conjure up product confidence...

but then i am just an old school advertising guy, what the hell do i know?

You know I went straight to rails and FF I didn't even see the girl. The rails look photoshopped or done in Maya or something.

What I am looking for is a simple set of rails that will allow me to put a Cavision lens bracket support on the letus adapter.

To me the Cavision rails look a bit to striped down, but at least I know their lens bracket will work with them.

Right now I have been using the Redrock adapter with its rather heavy rail system. I want to carry the setup around by the handle but feel that the weight might break it.

Are the Cavision rails made out of plastic? Are they very light weight?

How about the Indirails? Are they Heavy?

Can anyone tell me what setups they are using with the Letus Flip?

Thanks

after that post, id seriously have to say, not much.

sorry

I also wonder when Hyson is going to produce something. The combination of vaporware and teenaged advertising campaign don't inspire confidence in me either.

i've been wondering the same thing--is cavision the best way to go on a budget? and how long do the rails need to be to support a letus35 FE?

Be nice and be honest, Hyson new product has been a rumor for at least a year, and everytime the name comes up, it's always "next month" or "very soon", I hope you can at least admit to that much...:)

I am sure it will come out sooner or later, but if someone needs a base plate now, do you really think Hyson would be the best choice?
