Movies You Would Rather Vomit On Than Watch Twice

I dont like Donnie darko. it seemed completley "indie film" manufactured to me. Like "american Beauty".

The Scary bunny in Sexy BEast was WAY more effective to me. Also, that whole "cellar Door" thing..... mind as well have been written on a plasic bag and been floating around in the wind.......

Oh, and I forgot my all time most hated movie.

I hate this movie so damn much that I actually contemplated commiting suicide so I didn't have to remember it anymore.

In fact, I hate anyone who loves this film. I'll actualy stand in Best Buy, right next to the movie, and verbally abuse anyone who tries to purchase it, which is usually some early to late 20's douchebag who puts Fightclub and the Usual Suspects in his top ten of all time, right behind the movie I'm talking about.

Boondock Saints.

If you love this movie, then you should die. Simple as that.

I loath Boondock Saints. I, I, I can't f^%$#$%^ describe the sheer level of malevolence I have towards the film and its collective fanbase.

I really think I should seek out medical attention immediatly, because this is not healthy.

Boondock Saints doesn't want to make me puke. It makes me want to open my wrists in a warm tub as Elliot Smiths' "Needle in the Hay" plays ever so softly in the background.

And, Fight Club and The Usual Suspects aren't too far behind either.

And it is wise not to argue with me, as you will incur my wrath as well.

Never seen Boondock Saints but evertime I hear about I think of a movie that desperately wants to be a Tarantino film. Kind of like Things to Do in Denver, Bottle Rocket, and other films like that. Kind of the reason I never had the urge to watch it.

Fight Club and The Usual Suspects on the other hand are great films, especially the latter. Can't agree with you there.

Also, I have to restate my hatred for Elephant. You can also through in Gerry and likely Last Days (though I haven't seen that one). I just couldn't stand those movies.

Elephant was so repetitive and boring that about half way into the movie I realized that I knew the whole floor plan to the school. I was sitting there thinking that if this kid makes two rights he will be in the library. And sure enough he was.

If you compare Elephant to Bloody Sunday or Omagh (two Paul Greengrass films of a similar style) Elephant just doesn't stand up. Bloody Sunday and Omagh are fantastic slice of life films. They truly make you feel the horror and terror of a situation. Omagh is ok but Bloody Sunday is fantastic.

At least Fight Club and the Usual Suspects made an effort. I hate them, but I don't hate the people that like them.

On the other hand, where Boondock Saints is concerned...

Independance Day, Batman Begins, are you guys nuts? Those were great lol. Some of the movies you guys are posting makes me wonder....

Can't agree with you more. I hate it probably as much as you do. It's so over-stylized and idiotic. It all got even worse when Willem Dafoe was in drag pretending to be a woman. I love Willem Dafoe, but the way he decided to play that character (coupled with the way it was written) just really pushed the whole thing over the top. The same can be said about the bartender with tourettes syndrome. And it's a very blatant Tarantino rip-off, which is pretty bad considering how much Tarantino "borrows" from other movies. Don't get me wrong, I like Tarantino's films, but the Boondock Saints is just such a hackish copy-cat.

Boondock Saints may very well be the BEST movie of all time. Completely original. Right behind it are Fight Club and The Usual Suspects.

I've actually stood in Best Buy and verbally abused people who walk by Boondock Saints and fail to give it its proper respect.

And for that dude who didn't like Elephant, Last Days and Gerry, do yourself a favor and quit wasting your money on Van Sant movies. He's just not for you.

BTW, those movies rock! But not as much as Boondock Saints. #1 movie of all time.

I keep a copy of Boondock Saints on my altar at home, and grovel before it every night before bedtime.

When I feel sufficiently purified and worthy, it'll be time to actually watch it.

boon dock saints was AWESOME until the Beast turns out to be theri father,,,,,,, CHEEESY...... But i forgive it for the other 83 minutes of AWSOMENESS.

one of the scenes from one of the movies i hate most happend to me last week.
"hostel"
my achilles tension riped
makes me hate the movie even more, plus its time to go to the hospital

I know this will incur many people's wrath but mine was:

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Overly pretentious. Too many crying shots. WAY TOO LONG. I HATED the frickin' hobbits. I could go on and on.

I love Peter Jackson's work and I think the special effects and production value on the films were spectacular, but I HATED the story.

My favorite Peter Jackson movies:

King Kong
Dead Alive
The Frighteners

Allright. All you guys who are showing love for Boondock Saints:

You just made my list. That's right. You just made my mother f#^%$%^* list. I'll just throw you in with the rest of the others.

TimurCivan
Sad Max
IBEJohnson
Bill
Elle Driver
Budd
O-Ren Ishii
Vernita Green
M. Night Shamalamdingdong

You all can expect a visit from me in the not too distant future. Anyone else want to make my list? Hmm?

Dude, you can't just go and throw me on a list with M. Night. If I would have known he was on your list, there's no way I would have said those things.

Personally, I think he deserves a list of his own. But if you don't agree, then I change my my mind, I hate Boondock Saints. Worst movie of all time!

Elephant rocks! And Last Days. And Gerry.

And Donnie Darko.
