hello.

i'm currently using the petrol eargonizer 2 and it is o.k. but it doesn't fit all my crap quite as well as it could...

i noticed that porta brace has two new audio bags

AO-1X
AO-1.5X

they look like they could hold a SD-442, 744t and some lectro receivers plus a battery and bds system.

has anyone tried one of these two new audio organizers yet?

i wish i could get to a dealer who stocked a demo of these models so i could try them out hands on without just ordering blind based on the specs.

you must be kidding , the eargonizer2 is no enouth
it ones hold 5 recievers 2 transmiters ,2 mixers( 442 and wendt 2) and my hhb + bp-90 batteries
side pocket , aditional fron pouch
ok i looked as 9 month pregnent and it was around 12-13 kg but it replaced my cart

by the way there is number 3 and it cant take even more

its not that it isn't "enough" it is just that other bags i have had seemed to fit my gear better.

with the eargonizer 2 it seems like the gear moves around a bit and it was a real pain in the ass to get the 442 and the 744t at the right/same height.

mainly they just seem to move around.

i guess i miss the simple days with i had just the sd 302 in a kata sundo bag...

has anyone tried that new portabrace audio harness?

right now i'm using the kata one with the eargonizer and it is ok but the portabrace one looks like it would be easier on my back.

i am lucky that most of what i do now is on a cart but i really like doing documentary stuff and i am trying to find more of that kind of stuff to do in between the shorts and indie features.

tell me what parts you need for eargonizer 2 , extar pillows , extara devider
i can send you so your gear will sit dead inside
with regullar post , the shipping on me:-)
but i can do it only aweek from now as i shoot staright 7 days

is your bag new? is it possible that it did not come with component parts?

having used portabrace, it was shockingly refreshing to go petrol. no more cutting holes to route cables. no more exposed wires. I love it!

the bag comes with:
- a wall so you can separate 442 from 744
- pillows to adjust heights
- extra flaps to rais, lower, separate, or even accomodate 744 battery
- pockets on side for wireless recievers
- a bag that velcro will stick to almost anywhere for customisation
- stretch material to seat recievers inside bag with virtually no wiggle.

THANK YOU PETROL!

yes i bought it new.

has anyone got a good picture of a 744 and 442 in that bag? or any 744/442 setups in bags?

thanks for this site too, these kind of pictures can give other users, especially beginners, what kind of combination of equipment other people using...

maybe a cool idea for DVXuser to start a tsub-board like that ( or does it already excisting ? ) can't wait to see all the camera's in pelican cases, kata's or petrols... and what more things you take with...

a kind of -- what is in your bag -- subboard... :)
