SUNY Purchase Film Program

Does any one know about the program? I'm thinking about transfering. Any info would be helpful concerning Purchase or any good non-hyped film schools
 
i know like 30 people there. but none of them are in film. I have not heard bad or good thingsthough. just silence.
 
Well Hal Hartley went to the film program and I think during that time the program was very strong. One of my producing professors in grad school was teaching there during that time and he was very positive about the program--though he did admit that it was still under the radar.

what do you mean it was still under the radar?
 
I applied to this several years ago and got an interview, but never went for it. I had heard it was one of the top film programs in the country, but I'm not sure how true that was.
