Looking for a great shotgun mic to boom for a great price.

Please don't stone me but I am looking for advice on a good shotgun mic. I have been searching for a mic thread, but for some reason my search is acting crazy. I know it's a flat footed excuss, but please just give me a clue. I am planning to do some test shots and need a good mic to record with.

Thanks in advancerogar-Dolar(DBG):
