Scrolling Belt Buckle

i would totally get this if my belly didn't hang over the area where the scrolling belt buckle is supposed to be displayed.

yeahhh ive seen kids walk around school with those things on....mostly the ghetto kids.

Teachers and higher up faculty sometimes take them away for some messages that are displayed on them.

I want one of those scrolling signs in the front and rear windows of my car so I can post pertinent messages to the drivers around me.

What The F#$k ?

whoa, relax.

I love the scrolling message board. I got my start as a writer programming the message board in my high school. If only I had been smart enough to write down what I originally wrote. I just remember a lot of jokes about New Kids on the Block, Oprah and John Tesh. Yes, those things were funny when I was in high school. Don't you oppress me!

:)

Its too nerdy even for my taste !

Don't remember. Probably "Whatcha looking down here for?", but the cuteness factor wore off mighty quick.

Plus, I really don't need anything calling attention to my waistline.

"yeahhh ive seen kids walk around school with those things on....MOSTLY THE GHETTO KIDS"

What did you mean by Ghetto Kids? True, you did not point your finger at one particular race in your comment but you and I both know what race you are reffering too. Just to be clear, there are kids that come from middle class families and live in nice neighborhoods and that decide to dress "Gangsta" as you call it, yet are they considered a "GHETTO KID" to you? I have seen a lot of people of different races wearing those scrolling belt buckles on the street and in nightclubs. I was going to direct a Music Video once and I was going to have the artist wearing one in a certain scene. Its an attention getter and you can advertise whatever message you want on there.

Oh my god will everyone just drop this? Dude didn't mean anything by it, besides that the belt is often associated with the hip hop culture, which i definately agree with. Anybody can wear it, but the guy's who dress all thugged out (and you know exactly what i mean by that) tend to wear these belts more in my experience.
No more of this "lets out this guy as a racist"....we've got some valuable discussions about a talking belt to get back to!

wow.....im impressed by this totally angry outburst. I wonder if I am going to get another one for the comment I am about to make.

You know I really hate when people go play the race card everytime their feelings get hurt. It wouldnt be a stereotype if it didnt fit. I do not get offended when someone calles a member of my race redneck or hillbilly, instead I laugh, because unfortunately it is true. We all need to learn to let things like this roll off our back and stop taking offense to everything. Life is about so much more than being politically correct all the time.

end of rant......
