I didnt know where else to post this, and i did a search and really couldnt find anything i was looking for. im looking for a color correction monitor for my hvx. i read somewhere that if you shoot in hi def and try to show it on a standard def color correction monitor it might not play right. is their any truth to that. and can anyone point me in the right direction about what one is good to buy? i was looking at the JVC TMH-150CGU 15-Inch. would that work or no? any help would be extremly useful. sorry i couldnt figure it out on my own so i had to ask.

I am not so sure about the HD on SD monitor question. But as for monitor choices, I just read this thread today, its pretty good.

The Matrox MXO in combination with a 23" Apple display will get you broadcast colors.

Just curious if you ended up getting the JVC TMH-150CGU. I was considering it as a director's field monitor (maybe double as a CC monitor as well?).
