FCP files to Adobe Premiere

My friend is going to do a little wakeboarding video soon (amateurs) and he want me to have a video part in his movie. The problem is that my shots have been captured in FCP (.mov) and he edit with Premiere Pro. I gave him a dvd with my shots but he just told me the videos are ugly and they lag. Is there another way to export my shots so he can import them correctly in Premiere Pro?

What you've done should work. Just make sure that the Quicktimes are 8bit uncompressed 720x486 [if your doing standard definition].

It also depends on which version of PPro. If its PPro1 make sure that you audio is uncompressed.

I know this may sound dumb but make sure he is copying them to the hard drive first then importing. Could be something that gets overlooked sometimes

I'll ask him if he copied them to his hard drive I'm sure he forgot this. It's his first video project!
