Looking for a good price from an honest dealer. Everyone lists retail prices for Sanken mics, so I gotta call someone, I guess.

trewaudio.com

I got mine wire for lectro w/ power supply and an adapter for 3.5mm locking plug for sennheiser g2 ew100. I can use it wired or with two types of wireless all for $550. Talk to John

I found one place (B'cast Shop) that has instant email quotes. For the COS-11s (phantom & batt) that's $399 list, they offered $355. Do you think I can do better?

they robed you mike :-) at least for 8o bucks

I want to publicly thank Rob for his recommendation of Soundmixers. I was blown away by how friendly and helpful they were, and their prices for both the mic and shipping were a LOT lower than any of the others mentioned here. (I called them all.)

Thanks, Rob.

Powerdog,

These guys are the best, they deliver what they promise , I don't waste my time with anybody else.

I'm glad I was able to help you. Rob

Nice find Rob. Some of their prices are hard to believe but I will give them a try sometime.

Thanks

Wabbit,

I asked how they could afford such generous discounts. One of the biggest is low overhead of their AZ facility, but there are other steps they take that add up.

This is one place where your signature is contradicted. You can pick all three.

that price was awfully good, i've never seen a cos-11 for that little unless it was with a purchase of a higher end lectrosonic system.

what about the cos-11 regular and the red dot ones?

the ones i have for lectrosonic came with the red dot one?

i guess the difference is a resistor or something to change the sensetivity?

matthew

the red dot is reduced sencitivity capsule , good for lowd singing voice , not for dialog recording as it ads hiss to modest signals .
avoid use these if you dont need to .

hmm. i have two of them and they seem ok, has anyone else ordered a lectrosonic wireless setup and had it come with a red dot cos-11?

matthew

Matthew, the regular (phantom/batt) is what I got. Not quite as low a price as Rob's but still MUCH lower than anyone else. They even gave me a big discount on fast shipping. But what I liked as much was the positive, helpful attitude. Nice change from some of the bigger dealers.
