Something new from the Makers of "Broken"

I hate to be brutally honest, because I'm sure that girl is a cool person... and I'm guessing one of those guy's is hooking up with her, because that's the only reason I could find to have her in a predominant position in their films.

From the trailer I gotta' agree... it looks like a watered-down broken... plus yeah... I think the same girl IS tied up again. We just watched Broken again last week (after not seeing it for about a year)... and what really blows me away is how good the DVXuser members have become at storytelling. I thought Broken was incredible when I first saw it... now after seeing things like Katrina (and JDS projects) Broken lost it's air of distinction. Other "normal" members have done stuff that's so good that the waves in the pool have settled again.

For better or worse... anybody will have do something AT LEAST as good as Broken to raise any eyebrows around here now.

I gotta agree with ya 100%. At the time BROKEN was incredible, but as others have improved (Norm, JDS, etc.) the product is just so much better.

Honestly, that's why I am surprised more DVXuser's aren't in the running for that "On the Lot" show.

Broken was horrible in every sense. What exactly do/did people like about it? The "Hey! It was only a dream!" ending? The "acting"? The "how to take a leap onto a mattress" special features? Please!

I wasn't a big fan of Broken. I thought some of their shots were good, but the story+acting really ruined it for me. I still think the guys did a good job with their DVD and special features though.

I can't believe you people acting like you weren't drooling when broken came out! Broken was amazing for what it was. It was a short visual effects masterpeice made on a very modest budget. I own the dvd and learned alot from it.
Now with that said it was shot maybe 2 years ago and it still is very inspiring to watch the DVD.

I would hardly call Broken a VFX masterpiece. Some of the stuff I have seen around here blows it out of the water in that department.

The one ( and IMO only one) thing they did right was the marketing. They got out there and sold their product. Hell, they got me to buy one.

When i bought And read reviews I was excited it took 3 month to get to me when I order it and that irritated me and when I saw it I was like Ho Hum... It was done before and boring. Oh then the cop out ending... Anyway I didnt enjoy it when I got it.

also there are horrible shots and and acting like the worst one is the POV punch to the face. lol

I wasn't drooling, but yes, I was excited when my buddy ordered it and it finally arrived (we had a DVX at the time). Watching it was an utter let down, from the first minute of the "movie" all the way through the special features.

Believe it.
