How is this stabilizer called?

Hey,

just saw a Making-Of of a video by Germany´s great band "Beatsteaks" (http://www.beatsteaks.org/). Can somebody tell me the name of this camera stabilizing system they used here?

I am pretty sure it is called a turtle rig or it could be tortoise rig. Not sure who manufactures it, artemis?

I worked with a system like this once. The system was called "easy-rig". I don't know the manufacturer anymore. But the easy-rig isn't a real stabilizer. It doesn't have a spring arm or gimbal like steady rigs...it's built to take the weight of the cam off your shoulders or arms. I don't know if the system on the picture is the same I worked with, but it looks very similar.

Not at all an original design though, as it was borrowed (... copied) from a former products called Marzpak which is now defunct. See:

Also, as ther's no high precision machinery involved, that rig is well suitable for a cheap DIY project.
