Home depot 35mm adapter help (pleasseeee aid me)

whoa that one looks way better!!!

has anyone made that sucker?

it looks pretty easy and really effective....

only problem in my eyes would be that his is used on a trv, and thats a small lense compared to my dvx100b...

what kinda macro woudl you use? +10 72mm?

does anyone use this on a 100b?

would the cd one still work on the 100b even though the lense is so much bigger? the trv lense is 38mm i think, and the 100b is 72..

can i use a 72mm +10 macro on it even though the lense is small?

i guess id just need to compensate with larger holes, maybe use a smaller macro then stepup rings...

Hey Zipper, did you know that Redrock Micro has a DIY kit. they basically tell how to build it and where to get the parts.
I could even sell you mine. I started building one. I bought their manual, and 2 of every part that you need. (at least I think I got most of them)
After getting the first one almost done, I realized that after spending around 9k on the camera and other equipment, I didn't want to jeaopardise the image with a DIY project. (specially on HD video)
Let me know if you are intersted.

I want to build the CD one, and I was wondering if there was a better way to attach the lens rather than using the end cap. Could you use a redrock F mount or something?

I advise against the cd one. (I just don't see how the CD will be a really good ground glass.) The image will suffer from it. Again I recommend the Redrock DIY. As fro the mount. I'm not sure how to attach the Redrock Mount to a DIY project. If I'm not mistake, some people were able to buy the Nikon F mount at B&H and some people I believe were taking apart an old Nikon camera that didn't work anymore that they bought for +/- $25. and canibalizing the lense mount.
good luck.

I don't really care about image quality. I will probably just be using this with my cheapo handycam to practise focus pulls etc.

When I get a better camera (like an HVX or a Canon A1) I will go for something like the SGpro or the M2.
