Movies You Would Rather Vomit On Than Watch Twice

GASP!

Are you serious??
That is my new favorite movie.

What didn't you like about it?

Don't worry, I'm a tough sell................. I walk out on a lot of movies. This one because I didn't appreciate the "subtle" political message, the overall screenplay/plot development, and not so good acting. For me, 'it aint no Blader Runner'.............. contrary to several review/quotes I read.

All that being said, this is just MY opinion and I'm glad you enjoyed the movie. No need to defend the movie with me. :nads:

That needs to be a required for this thread. I'm confused as to why people hate some good old fashioned classics. Unless you can state a reason (for anything), why is your opinion credible, you know?

I hate all the dance movies where it is the same storyline but with different genres (hip-hop, ballet, salsa) They always have a frickin benefit at the end and eveything turns out okay.....makes me ill. Just once I want all the dancers to die or for nobody to show up to the benefit and they have to close the community centy leaving the kids no choice but to start a life of crime....just give me one!

the original japanese "shall we dance" is pretty good. i think the maerican took the name and the dancing part. but there are dart jokes and cultural stuff in it. its sappy but pretty good i think the end just make you go ahhhh well.

SHALL WE DANCE (The original Japanese) was probably one of the greatest films of all time.
More vomit movies include anything with Ben Aflek pis poor acting at it's worst.

Citizen Kane -- Yes, I know 99.95% of the worlds seems to like this film. I thought it was boring predictable... only saved by Orson Wells cool age-progression makeup.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture -- I'm a huge Star Trek fan, but I can't stand this one. I own the DVD just to complete the set, and did a little test: there's a scene where Kirk is heading to the Enterprise on a shuttle with the Trek theme song playing in the background that lasts for over 3 minutes with no dialog... Can this movie be any worse? I have no idea how the franchise didn't die. Good thing it didn't: Khan was amazing....

The Thin Red Line -- Boring, no plot (of value), and too many distractions. Would have been an okay 90 minute film instead.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service -- The only Bond film I've only seen once. Not going to go into detail about how dumb it was. Bond gets married? Come on...

There are others, but that's all I can think of for now...

No wonder this thread stopped dead in its tracks back in January!!! I about had a heart attack when I read that. I can see someone making the argument that it doesn't qualify as the BEST movie ever, but boring and predictable? Here's why its predictable, because over 50% of the films since have followed its storytelling format.

Anyway, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the 2 worst movies of ALL TIME:

Hudson Hawk
Toys

Half Nelson

Half Nelson

Half Nelson
anyone would feel that way watching something three times in a row!!! ;)

actually, in my opinion Half Nelson was the best, most poignant, most truthful film I saw last year.

few films last year were as relevant to our times. i suppose i'm partial to stories about morally bankrupt father-figures, as well. this girl had two, and each contradicted the values they claimed to stand for. anyway, i'd reserve the puke for something with nothing original or new to say. my 2¢, anyway.

WHAT?!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :kali: :kali:

Once Upon a Time in Mexico is actually not a very good movie, although I wouldn't call it vomit inducing...that would be Van Helsing, which coincidentally looked like someone devoured a bunch of old horror movies and puked them back up on the screen.

No coincidence. The genesis of Van Helsing was some people in the Black Tower noticing that Universal still held the rights to all the classic 30s and 40s monster/horror properties, and deciding to make use of them.

The props were cool, though. My friends' company made the pistols, line-throwers and crossbows; they kept one of each for themselves. They're unbelieveable.

Event Horizon

Granted, it's not gonna make the AFI's top 100...but for the resources they had I thought that was an excellent low-budget high-profile sci-fi flick.

Farce of the penguins

The Star Wars Holiday Special (I know its not a movie...but I'd still never want to watch it again.)

Event Horizon was anything but a low budget film, it was massive.
