Finished short, can't upload it from Quicktime to You Tube

I've tried twice to up load the clip from Holy War to You Tube but though the you tube window says it is up loading it doesn't upload. I left it on all night last night because it is a long file, 9.26 min long and I thought the first time it just took a long time to up load the file. No up load that first time and again no upload the second time. Anyone have some ideas on how to get this quicktime movie clip to load into You Tube? Also I'm not that good with this program and my help who is better at using FCP is working so please make any instructions very basic so that I understand them, thanks.

Youtube doesn't like quicktime so I bought QT pro because it can convert a QT video to an MPG file which is listed on youtube. Now though I have the reg. code it still shows my QT player as regular QT, not QT Pro. I'm stuck on how to get the Pro version loaded and the apple support help page is no help. Help! OK I got it to an MPG-4 file and I'm downloading it now, hopefully it will work this time. BTW the short is in the movie section under "Osama Blows His Top" if it works this time.

I have exported as an mpeg 1 using compressor. Seems to work fine. The Ken Stone web site has a detailed tutorial about uploading to youtube.

Got it up! Here is a short from our movie called "Holy War". This short is titled "Osama Blows His Top". I thought some of you would like to see one of the places we go in this film. I'm sure that the Shrub administration and Osama bin Laden and other fundamentalist religious zealots won't like it too much, but you might. ;-) Here is the Youtube video link.

Audio of the fellow with the beard is quite low. With all my settings cranked, still tough to hear him.

cheers.

Hum, that guy is me and I have no trouble hearing what I said, but I do have the audio level on youtube turned up all the way.

I have the you tube audio and my own cranked and I can hear you, but have to sit fairly close to the speakers to hear. Then tested out a few of the Ask a Ninja clips to see if it was on my end, and those were coming through blaring, no prob. And the person interviewing you is also quite a bit easier to hear. Again this is just my system I can comment on, so could be some peculiar quirk, not sure.

I do have a soft voice and perhaps my voice doesn't match your ears to well? Plus I'm not the best actor, though I did get the thoughts I wanted to get out, out. One of the reasons I released this short was to get some feedback on the short content and the overall look of the editing of the film, so we will see what the next few days brings in that regard. Also I wanted to use it as a tool to see if I can generate some help in front and behind the camera, given my budget and all.
