I am doing my Crew list for the credits of a movie. What would you call ther person(s) that helped setting up a scene? for example the scene I had people help with was a battle scene for a civil war movie i'm doing for school. We are getting stuff and tying string/rope/fishing line to trees so when we cut the rope the tree will fall making it look like we are in a war with explosions going off. And they are helping me with that. So what would be the write name for that person?

The mad dude who couldn't keep his finger of the chainsaw switch in a massive forrest long enough...man.

nother question..

I got a scene that is a car crash and I have 2 guys that have the crashed cars and are taking them out to the scene.

For crew would you call them, Tow Truckers? Or is there a better name?

Why don't you ask them what they consider fair titles - esp if they worked for free (I'm not sure I'd like the title TowTrucker.

Ps on a set the people involved with mainpulating things like trees would be props, special effects, or riggers - depending on the exact nature of the job.

Mangled Car Wranglers

or Wrecked Cars provided by "so and so "
