Coming to N.Y for a holiday. need to know where to shop?

Hi all,

I'm coming to N.Y and to N.J for a short break this June. I just want to know where can i do some semi/pro video camera shopping in this two places. i've got 2 full days when my wife is with her friends.

I agree. Don't miss B&H. I would just try to go on a day other than Sunday--it is so busy then that you might end up with just a little more B&H experience than you want.

Don't go on a Saturday or Jewish holiday -- they're closed. Check the schedule on their website.

circle line tours or cruises or something like that is a cool boat ride around manhattan. its a long ride, but a good chance to rest your legs. and MOMA is pretty amazing. The museum of broadcast and film was not though - unless I totally missed something (which is highly possible) it was just some small theaters showing old shows. I have a dvd player for that... The wife and I went last year and spent most of our time just walking around and eating... mmmm pizza....

NJ has awesome views of the NY skyline at night. anywhere on the water - hoboken, weehawken, west new york, edgewater, etc.... if you're in that area, a lot of good restaurants along river rd.
