How do you embed quicktime movies in a myspace page?

not sure, should do a google search, ive heard of a worm that had to be fixed in quicktime for myspace.

your video is interlaced like crazy btw

I had previously uploaded my videos to Google Videos (video.google.com), so I just used the link from there to add them to my space.

<embed allowScriptAccess="never" allowNetworking="internal" enableJSURL="false" enableHREF="false" saveEmbedTags="true" SRC="your movie's address with qoutes" HEIGHT=375 WIDTH=480>

adjust the height and width numbers to fit ur movie

Yea just follow the instructions in the UPLOAD VIDEOS section on myspace. Now if you upload your video through another site like YouTube and want to put that video on your myspace page then you will need to copy the code and then paste it in your ABOUT ME section on Myspace. If you have a MYSPACE FILM version page then it will put all your videos in one box so viewers of your page can see all your work in one place. See mine for an example.

Well the whole idea behind embedding a quicktime file is the quicktime quality. I'm underwhelmed by the youtube and myspace compressions. I'll try cheesesailor's instructions and see what happens.

i'm pretty sure you can't embed quicktime files in a myspace page (only you tube and myspace video).
and by "pretty sure" what i really mean is: if you held a gun to my head and asked me if you could embed quicktime video in a myspace page, i would say no. if i had the option of playing a melody on an old pirate organ, i'd do that instead.

here is my space: http://www.myspace.com/43403950

and here is the code i have in my "who i want to meet" box:

<embed allowScriptAccess="never" allowNetworking="internal" enableJSURL="false" enableHREF="false" saveEmbedTags="true" SRC="http://www.stickypod.com/videos/data/541/dustreel.mov" HEIGHT=375 WIDTH=480>

wtf, I just changed something in y profile and it took down my reel?!?!?

My guess is you can no longer embed qt files into your profile! LAME! If i had known that I wouldn't have updated it, ARGH!
