Thoughts? opinions? I liked it. it was simple, but still intresting. I thought some of the edits were tacky, and done many times before.

My roommate thinks shooting it would have been a logistic nightmare, but i personally think it would be really easy to shoot if all the viewpoints were drawn out.

btw, for those that haven't seen it, its about a sequence of killings/accidents and the whole movie explains how they happened through the viewpoint of the people

business wise it was a flop, but oh well.

and rachel leigh cook it pretty hot.

Decent. Not as good as some of the other multi-character ensembles that center around a particular event such as Amores Perros.

hehe - now that's a different caliber of a film.

Good movie for a first-time director (his first feature, anyway). Technically, it's well done. Good acting, story keeps you guessing, interested. Very Tarantinoesque.

lol funny you bring that up movie stunts... my new 101 class watched it this week and were like rashomon is the worst film made last century. man i hate people sometimes.

It's hard to go wrong with Toshiro and Kurosawa. Sometimes there's no accounting for taste i guess, sorry to hear that Spidey.

i know but while i was out this weekend i bought the new Version of Seven Samurai the 3 disc Crit. version to make my self feel better.

lol i think people thought invasion of the body snacthers were one of the more brilliant films ... we watched it after rashomon and man peoiple were like at least it was better than that stupid japanese movie. I was so pissed.

hmmm....well - Body Snatchers is ok - both '56 and '78 versions, but not in the same league as Rashomon!
