Cartoni Focus vs Bogen 519?

The focus head is 100 mm bowl, those manfroto stick are 75. There's probably an adapter. I would go the opposite route. Take the 519 and put it on miller solo carbon sticks. Mixing and matching is more expemsive, but it seems you allready have the mindset. Someone here had bought the 519 allong with a sachtler dv6 head, stuck them both on miller solo sticks, and seemed equaly pleased. The reviews for the 519 have all been good, but I can't say the same about the cartoni. I havn't tried either so I won't make any claims.
 
well i particularly like the manfrotto sticks, I've been able to use them myself (havent had a chance with the cartoni set. Also, minimum height is very important to me, and 35" vs 12" for the manfrotto makes it no contest.

Although if anyone has another opnion I'd really like to hear about it.
 
If you go the Cartoni Focus, make sure it has the new metal quick release plate, not the carbon fibre one. This was updated in the last month or so, however, I would confirm with vendor before purchase.
