So what's the latest "hot item" for an external monitor?

[Jarek Zabczynski]

A while back I was planning on getting an external monitor to use on shoots. I was really tempted by that nice 21in Gateway with the Fujoura (sp?) chips and stuff though I opted for the Marshall instead.

I can't seem to find the Gateway anywhere, seems it was discontinued.
Looking for something with component inputs as well as DVI so I can use it as a 2nd monitor on my G5 as well. 17-21in or so is what I'm looking at.

What's on the menu these days?

My 24" Dell is starting to flicker, so it will be going back soon. There is a 24" gateway that is available at some computer stores. Both are in the $750 range.

Also, FilmTools has a VESA bracket to mount an LCD onto a C-Stand. It's $100.

New Gateway 24", not the old one. Make sure you ofind the newest model.

Also, the 22" Displays 720, and is a pretty good screen for about 200 less.
