Using Powerpoint Slides in a Premiere Project

Can anyone tell me the best way to do this? I'm using a standard ntsc 720x480 workspace, and no matter what format I save the powerpoint slides in, they look like total crap on the timeline in Premiere... which I don't entirely get, as they look quite a bit better in the preview monitor. I'm having the same problem with screen shots and image grabs via snagit.

Any suggestions?

If it is a Microsoft Powerpoint presentation, open the presentation in powerpoint itself, and there will be an option to convert all slides to jpegs. Do that. Now import the jpegs to your project and insert them accordingly in your timeline.

thanks... yeah I did that... even though the images look decent when displayed as stills, they look horrible on the timeline (even after rendering). There's gotta be a way to make them look good... I'm hoping :)

funny thing... these graphics look bad in the timeline, even rendered... but when I exported a test movie, they look good. Odd, but lesson learned!
