Little Bit of Vegas FX

[David Jimerson]

Painted a wall in my office green. Did a quick and dirty little setup -- just messing around -- just to test lighting, etc . NOT much effort put into it . . .

Nothing TOO exciting, but I figured you guys might get a kick . . .

Nice work.

[Drew Ott]

Is that a model you have?

[bansheeproductions]

haha

[David Jimerson]

Is that a model you have?

It is actually the Kenner toy with the nice, larger "wing" panels (with plastic inlays instead of paper decals).

[Drew Ott]

Mm nice. Is that a still from a vid or just a still?

[bwest]

hey David.....what camera?

[David Jimerson]

It's a still from a Canon G5. If you guys want to play with it, it's here:

look great, nicely lit, no spill. Did you have a amber/red overhead light, pointing straight down, not in anyway directed at the green screen? I see a slight red tone on the inner wall of the craft. What ever you did David, awesome lighting control and key.

[David Jimerson]

Thanks -- yes, I had a magenta gel on a backlight to kill the spill.

Oof what realism that toy has huh ! im impressed,,, very nice key pulling. So this is a video clip of the spacecraft moving ? what happens in he video ? Hmmm have taken your image to play around with. LOL. Thanks.

[David Jimerson]

Not a video clip, just a still. Clips will be forthcoming. Not within the next week or two, though. But when they do, they might involve a moving version of this concept board:

But, you know, without the matte lines.
