I transfered a track from Sountrack to final cut...it is on synch all the way till the middle, from the middle on, it goes slightly out of synch....any tips?

BTW, I've decided to sell my editing suit. I just can't do it....I'll hire an editor for my next project, but I need to finish this project.:Drogar-Angry(DBG):

Easy tiger ;)

Don't get discouraged so easily! I think I ran into your "for sale" ad in the marketplace (imac 17"?)...

Ask away, and those that can answer, will. Don't worry about apologizing for "dumb" questions, and I suggest you hang in there. One day you'll wake up and it'll all just make sense. It take's a little time, though.

Learning how to edit is an intrical part of filmmaking (If you can edit well, you'll know the shots you'll need to get out on location).

As for an answer to your question, I have no idea. I don't really work with soundtrack, so I'll let the others answer that one. Just wanted to chime in before you pull the rest of your hair out.:furious3:

How long a movie are we talking? Did you save it out of Sound Track at 48k/16bit?

Was the movie brought into Soundtrack with the video, or did you export the audio tracks out of FCP into ST and then back the same way?

Check the sample rate of the track from ST in the FCP browser.

Oh wait -- is this the 4 minute movie you've been trying to fix??????

PM me... maybe I can help
