Superimposing people on clouds

I want to superimpose photos I've taken onto images of clouds and make them blend really well into each other Does anyone know how to go about this?

To make them blend really well, you would need to do some color correction to make each pic's color space similar, and then you could use a simple layer mask to define where they begin to blend, and how much.

Could you post a couple of low rez examples? Twould help to see what you are wanting if you could.

definitely play with the blending modes. using a good blend mode will look better than just adjusting opacity.

This is what I have so far. Is there a way to make the center darker and then have it blend slowly as it goes to the outer edges of the cloud? Almost like a gradient effect.

Thank you both for your help so far. I had completely forgot about the blending tool.

This is for an ad I'm making for my production business, to put into the program for a HS prodution of Oklahoma. So I thought i'd make it Oklahoma themed. I still have more to do on the ad but here's what I have so far. Any construtive criticism would be very welcome.

Yes. Dont use the opacity slider on your people. Use a Layer Mask on that layer to have their edges to fade in. Blending modes are not going to help in this example, as that will affect the entire layer. You dont want to do that. All you need is Layer Masks.

It's really easy. All you have to do is trace the inner area (halfway before the fade) of your subject with a selection like the lasso.

Hit the layer mask icon in the layers a palette
go to filters
and add a gaussian blur.
Use the slider to adjust the amount. It'll taper off to the edge good depending on where the edge line is on where you traced your subject.
