Do I need an adapter for a wide angle lense?

The OPPOSITE is true; that's WAY too expensive for what it is. You are looking at a $40 lens there. Nothing much good about that one.
(A dead givaway is the "Professional" on the packaging. If they write it, it normally isn't! :))

For a good 0.6x wide angle look at the Century Optics one. They make two that are good, a 0.6x which ISN'T zoom-through, and a 0.7x that IS zoom-through.
The 0.6x is about $370 or so, the 0.7x is about double that, I think.

Understood.
The one you posted a link for was $228, and is basically useless and of very poor quality.

The one that most here will recommend, the Century Optics 0.6, for instance, is purpose made, has a bayonet connection (not a 72mm threaded one), and is about $399 new, but can be picked up for much less than that second hand.
In fact, we just sold ours in the Marketplace for $225.00.
