What do you think about Costa Rica

Ah, Volcan Arenal. One of my favorite places.

Our hotel room had a bay window that faced it, so we could watch its activity from bed all night.

Wow..is that activity, like 'lookit the pretty light show' or activity, like 'bubbling molten hell-taffy rolling our way?'

It's not molten pahoehoe lava like Hawaii. It's more like the lower temperature a'a lava with tumbling hot rocks, sparks, and occasional loud explosions and fireworks.

Volcan Poas is more of a boring but colorful steaming caldera.

Less destructive than Mt. St. Helens and more beautiful...

my dad just went out there for a pastors conference a few weeks ago and loved it

I went there for my honeymoon this past summer and we loved it. I was going to put up a few pics of the area but I can't figure out how to do it. Just imagine sunny white sand beaches and a scenic volcano and you will get the drift. It did rain a lot though. Oh, and we didn't care for the snakes either.

We also have very good infraestructure for filmmaking if you want to come and film here too.
