Nikon User Thread

It's been a little while since I contributed anything to this thread.

Both of these are straight out of the camera with only resize and convert to jpg applied...

Shot on the 70-210 2.8, D50 (I don't think I had the D200 with me that day)

These were taken on Saffari (or Lion Country Saffari)

Heres a big one from the other night.....

D70, 50mm, 1/50th @ F2.8, No CC. Think im going to get the original blown up to poster size.

Not sure I like that one. My eyes go to the horizon and the star at the top, and they're too close to the edges of the frame for my taste.

was kinda the point.....but thx for the comment

Nice. I like that Mick. Looks great. The reason i liked both of these shots is that the sky goes from red to orange then to dark blue.

I don't have a D70 anymore (went back to film months after buying it) but when i did, heres a handful i have on flickr. don't like the camera and don't like any other digital camera i've used (although the 5D is my favorite, if i had to choose, the tones are quite neutral)

top three are nikkor af 50mm f/1.8 and last one is a manual focus 85mm nikkor

HUh? I just snapped this at my friends house... there's a lake there and newlyweds sometimes paddle a canoe out there, I thought it was a nice photo.
